I want this to be easy to access, so I keep my usual cute remarks to a minimum. There is also an explanation as to what made the list and what did not, and why. You will find that at the end. I really wanted you to be able to click on the links, but from what I hear the codes for that do not work in articles, so please cut and paste.

    Beginners Articles

For starters, you have to learn how to play and get better, and better. If you know all the things written here, you are good enough to get to the Advanced Articles. There might be something here to give you a good deck idea anyway.

Common Combos: Simple , small and lethal Kelly Brown (gyrotech)

Want to build some good combos without spending lots on Rares? Check this:

Top 10... Series Chris Menzel (Darth Crith )

Kinda weird putting my own stuff here, but it is in the beginners section, and I really am the most easy person to get permission from... for me. We get along great.

    Top 10 Unwritten rules:

Top 10 Things to know about Virtual Set 4:

    Advanced Strategy Articles

The following articles are all written by great SW players, and offer interesting content that you can read again and again. As I became a little better at the game and re-read these, I noticed how much depth is in there. I do not have a comment for every single one, but they are all great.

A Players Guide to Winning Jonny Chu (jonnychu)

All About the Mind Clint Hays (recast by Casey Barson)

Tracking Series (3 Parts) Steve Marshall (BlackViper)

This is the ultimate way to learn tracking. Steve covers it all.

What is Cheating? Steven Lewis (Sir Yoda)

It certainly is a controversial matter, but in my opinion this should serve as an (in)official guide to handle it. Steven walked the thin line for every-one to follow.

    Deck Construction Articles

It will not help you a bloody thing to know how to play, if you cannot build a decent deck (unless you use those of a buddy). These guys have written good articles on that topic.

The Greatest In The Game (Series) Jacob Taylor (Armaedes)

Most of the guys here had too many top finishes to list here. Playing good is timeless.

So, that closes the (hopefully) useful part of this article, and leads me right into the whining section. This really was a monster to do, and took me a few months. Aside from having to get (and wait for) permission from all the listed writers, there was a lot of re-reading involved. A thing like this is always subjective, regardless what I say. The guidelines by which I went, and what made the list was:

    - I would have to get permission from the author (the friendly thing to do)
    - The article would have to be rather timeless, or part of a (continuing) series
    - It should cover something the other articles do not cover, or help beginners
    - The links should help the players have all good stuff in one place

That is basically it. There were several that I did not get an answer from. Check the Decktech top article section for more goodies. There are several other great ones that almost made it. Also, if you have a really good article or link, please use the review section to put it there for all to see (and mail me their e-mail address for a possible update!!!). This would be much more helpful than a You-missed-a-few remark. Speaking of remarks, there is lots of guys I have to give credit to.

    Props:
To David Kangas for helping with the preliminary selection of articles. We had the same idea to do such an article (as many had before, but I do not think anyone did yet), and most of the links listed here were chosen from both of us independently from one another).
To Steve Marshall for his help with the click-able links, although it does not work for articles.
To all the guys listed above for providing us with the articles and links. Thanks again.
To Neal for this kewl web-site and his help, and for making all this possible.

    Slops:
To me, in case I accidently screwed up anywhere. I double and triple checked, but there are so many names and stuff. If I misspelled any-one or forgot to give credit to some-one, please be aware that it was not intentionally, and crucify me in the review section. That does not go for the master of ing by the way, who will do so anyway : )

    Pops:
Is one of those old Gold Squadron dudes. Also, to all the guys I tried to reach, that have gone the way of the magic dragon. Get back to the game already.

That is really it. We may try to put this (or a revised and access-able version of it) on the PC homepage. Otherwise we will link new players to this to help them along. All you have to do is read it, enjoy it, spread the word, and give me a star for every week I put into this (I would settle for five though, since there is no 12 star system yet : )

May the Force be with all of you...
